A Little About The EP

31 Mar 2011 8 Comments

Hey ya’ll! I just wanted to take the time to let you guys know a little bit about the EP releasing later this month!

This is my first project, and I couldn’t be more excited to put it in yall’s hands as a representation of myself. There are 7 songs, each carefully selected, and each straight from my heart to yours. There are songs to party to, songs for the ladies, songs for a beautiful day, songs to grieve, and songs to escape. I hope they mean something to you, and you can find a piece of yourself in the music.

I was looking at the project, and as an artist who is always growing, I am already seeing what I will do differently next time. But as my producer for this project always said, “Each album is a stamp in time. It shows you just where you were in life when you were working on it…” that couldn’t be more true.

Unconsciously looking at all these songs one day, I realized that every SINGLE one of them, is about strength. Finding it, losing it, wishing for it, acting it out, embodying it… so whether you are chasing a long-winded dream of yours, going though a heart-wrenching breakup, mad at your significant other, or ready to take your life back into your own hands, my hope is that this project will help empower you to find a strength inside yourself that is God-given.

I guess that is where I have been the last 6 months, in a state of searching for strength, testing my limits, and learning who I am and who I want to be as a woman. And the evidence of this journey is what I am excited to share with you.

Pre-orders for the album are avialable at http://www.richardsandsouthern.com/store/adley-stump-c-1077.html

Please enjoy my debut EP “Like A Lady” when it hits the web this month, and as always, thank you for being a part of this journey with me. My career would not be possible without you.

With Hope,
Adley

Hey Adley!! I remember you singing at school and you were so quiet in the microphone like you weren’t sure if you wanted your voice to be heard. I am so glad that you changed your mind : ) You have a beautiful voice and I am so proud of you and happy for you that you are sharing it with everyone. I am watching the voice every show waiting to see you. You are such a beautiful bright person inside and out. Good Luck : )))

Hey Adley! Let me start off by saying that you have a beautiful voice!! I am in love with it!!!!!! I was watching the voice last night, and I was very sad to see you go.. But on the other hand I am so happy to be able to go to iTunes and buy your music!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!

  6. My family and I watched you on The Voice, and I recognized the Pi Phi wallpaper in the background of one of the pictures they showed on television. I saw arrows on your shirts – totally got excited that one of the girls from 324 South Cleveland Avenue is making it big.

From one Pi Phi to another — good luck. I wish you great success.

    TTF :)
