Taking It To A Whole New Level
Hey Adley Fans!
We are very excited to invite you guys to be a part of the Get Stumped! show on a very different level!
This show is quickly moving on to bigger and better things (as Adley is as well!) and we need you guys to help make that possible.
So we want to know…
How would YOU like to be “Stumped” by Adley?
What is your biggest dream?
Is someone in your life struggling and needs a leg up? (Or is it you…?)
Is a loved one sick and a “dream day” could make their life just a little bit easier?
What is it that THING that could take your life to where you wished it was? And can we help?
Write to us…tell us your story. And let’s see if we can do something about it together!
This is the beginning of a journey of joy, friendship, community, music, and hope.
You have all joined Adley’s story.
Now she is asking to join yours.
Please send your stories to

We will not be able to answer all requests, but you will be notified if your story is selected.

Hi Adley! My name is Angela , and i am from Sweet Home Alabama but home for us now is where the army takes us right now and that is Fort Bragg, Nc! We live on base where i am a stay at home army wife and mother of 2 that does nothing all day but sing to my babies while washing dishes or cleaning the house! I sing country music , but don’t look like the average country singer! In 2009 I went through a major weight loss going from 300 pds down to 145 and still losing from gastric bypass! I have sang all my life and always been told just like Jeniffer hudson was, you are to strong, your to big, you come across just to much for people! I just did idol and they told me i was a little fire ball and they hoped they where not making a mistake but they had picked to many people in my genera of music! After losing the weight i was determind to set a new trend and bring something new , fresh ,to country music! i want to show the world that i can rock out the stage if just giving the chance! I just got turned down on the voice because they where picking lots of younger girls i was crushed! i am 27 not getting any younger lol but i know i have the personality, style ,passon, and modivation if someone would work with me a little on my voice (because i have never had lessons) i am sure you understand not been singing that long! if my singing don’t work i would love to do a show like you and go help people , and to maybe even visit the soldiers and we could sing for them over seas! wow what a dream! I have been through 4 deployments away from my husband! He is home now and wants nothing more then to send me to nashville to make a two song demo but we just live pay check to pay check and can’t afford to take away from the kids.diapers ,are expensive and we took another leap of faith and put off some major bills to and went by faith and used it for travel money for the voice audition in atlanta! You know all about this i am sure, hotel, food, gas, out fit, just to here no again! So i recon i will just sing on the porch swing to my kids but i know there is something greater inside me that the world needs to see! Please Help me Adely, you are amazing and i am a huge fan! I want to get Stumped, come on to North carolina and make this week get better! I don’t know what we are going to do this is my last chance! I need to get my foot in the door, i have so much personality! watch some of my youtube videos! I would just dye if i heard from you! Thanks for taking the time to read this! Blessings and hope to hear from you soon ! Ang
We live in a small town…nothing exciting goes on here…would like for Adley to stay in my small cabin and take a picture of her in front of it!!!!!!!
I am a volunteer and board member for New Leash on LIfe, a non profit animal welfare organization in Lebanon, TN. We offer many programs including spay/neuter, wellness clinic, no kill shelter, a pet pantry program and much more. Our shelter is funded through donations and fundraising. We are primarily run through volunteers and good ole hard work.
I realize that Adley has already done a stumped video w/ the Metro Animal Shelter but I was hoping that Adley could possibly come help out at one of our fundraisers. Bark in the Park is at the Lebanon Fairgrounds on May 5th. The event is from 11am-5pm. We will have 2 small stages set up for local performers and for dog contests such as cutest costume, best trick, etc. It would be SO AWESOME to have a surprise performance from ADLEY!!!
People often think that b/c our non profit looks big that “they have plenty of money”, If only that were true. We are always trying to find ways to increase awareness of the program and find new volunteers to grow the services we can offer and the number of animals we can take in and rehome.
I can only imagine the number of requests you all will receive for Adley’s “Get Stumped” and I love following the acts of kindness she posts online. Her positve actions encourage more people to get involved and do small things to help others.
Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to seeing what is to come.
Sincerely,
Angela Chapman

Hey Adley,
First and foremost, I have to say that I love your voice! You are an amazing artist!
My story begins with a dream, a dream that I hope will someday come true. My dream Adley is being a recording artist and making my living by singing.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved to sing. As a child, when others were out playing, I’d be inside listening to records. I can’t explain it, but the feeling of just singing along with these artists was the best thing in my young life.
As I grew up, I was always involved in chorus and church choirs. If there was a singing part, I was in it! I was a member of my high school’s Show Chorus and we traveled all around the area singing and performing. That was like a drug that I couldn’t get enough of.
Unfortunately, after I graduated high school, I didn’t have the opportunities to pursue when it came to singing. I enlisted in the US Air Force and began what I thought would be my career. All the while, I still had that desire within me to sing. I was approaching the end of my enlistment and people would ask what I was going to do when I got out, and my only answer was the same I would give as a kid when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up… “Other than sing, I have no idea.”
That was my life, always desiring to sing, but now with a family, I had no way of providing for them while I pursued my life long dream. So I once again put my desire behind me and did the best I could to provide for my family.
Unfortunately, my marriage ended about two years ago. Once again, I was at a point in my life that I had a choice to make. At that time, I wasn’t in the position to pursue my dream. I needed to work on myself.
Now, two years later, I am ready to do all it takes to pursue this dream. What is ironic is that I am writing this today, March 17th, on what was supposed to be my tryout date for The Voice in Atlanta. Unfortunately for me, I had to go out of town to support my company, leaving me with no choice but to place that aside, once again!
What I would ask of you Adley, is to help me with this lifelong dream that I feel was placed in me to accomplish. I am very hopeful that I will hear back from you regarding this.
Thank you!
Keith Butler
I am struggling….I resigned from my job in June 2011, in hopes of finding a Monday – Friday job, looking at patient care from a different angle besides at bedside….Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a job here in south Georgia, and not to mention, my husband lost his job 2 months after my resignation. We did not handle our monies well, and unfortunately we are broke, and having to live with family. It is no ones fault but our own. But I just want people to know that if you have a job…KEEP IT….regardless of what you may want. I have never depended on anyone for anything…have always been a hard worker, so this is really taken me down to the bottom. The only light I have at the end of my dark tunnel is that i know that my God has something bigger and better in store for me! He alone will bring me back up to heights unknown! I know you can’t do anything to help me, and wouldn’t want you to. Just asking that you remember me in your prayers and may God continue to use you and bless you in your career with your great voice! Will be looking forward to seeing your recordings, as I know they will be there soon!!
My Grandmother, Patsy Anderson, has had a rough couple of years. In late 2008 her husband Kenny had a heart attack. He had diabetes already, but this was unexpected. Then 2 months later, he had numerous Strokes. After a few of these strokes, and he began to lose his mind; literally. He passed away in April of 2010, but they had been trying to seperate because he became rude, crude, and crazy from his strokes. She still loved him though and always will. THEN, in April 2010, her father became very ill. He had had Liver Cancer for 13 years with a life expectancy of 5 months. My great-grandpa was a fighter. His cancer finally took ahold of other organs in his body and took his life in July of 2010. She lost the 2 most important men in her life within 3 months. Then, in August of 2010, our cousin Michael was killed in a four-wbeeling accident. Within 4 months, 3 of her family members were taken away from her. She currently cannot hold a job because of the eye surgery she had 4 years ago. She used to work at a flower shop and loooooooved it. She spends her time staying at our house, or going to stay with her mother 2 hours way. We are a family from a small town in Oklahoma. If my grandma was to Get Stumped! it would turn her whole day around, no doubt. A simple visit and talk with her would most certainly make her day/week. I hope her story has touched you.
Hey y’all,
My beloved wife Lynn has been trying to get her music out there in the hopes of raising money for our charity that helps drill water wells for orphans as well as feeds and clothes them. She recently signed with a label that has done a lousy job of promoting her (in my opinion). She has fans around the world on Facebook and Reverbnation but things are just so dismally slow, to dead in the water. Her heart is for these kids and she could sure use a bit of help from anyone who has the ability to do so.
We loved Adley on the show and we KNOW that Blake made a HUGE mistake in letting her go! Please give Lynn a look see and we would absolutely love to hear from you!!
You can find Lynn’s work @ www.facebook.com/#!/lynnschrineramazed and at www.reverbnation.com/drlynnschriner
Thanks and hope to hear from you!!
Many blessings on your career Adley!!!!

Your heart is a big as your voice. Keep up the good work.
My dog (2 years old white lab) broke her leg in two places. She had surgery that costed 7,000 dollers. They put plates in her leg, but somehow the plates are messing up her leg so we have to do another surgery which costs 5,000 dollers. But, also I had to have surgery for my foot thats costed 9,000 dollers and all the injurys are coseing problems for me and mommy.

What better way “to go” big than a trip to Texas to “stump” our big family? You would make our special adoption day so very special. We will soon be adopting our 6th and 7th child. We have been blessed with with two biological sons age 11 and 9. We had the pleasure of adopting our 8 year old daughter, 7 year old daughter, and 7 year old son about 6 years ago. We will be adopting our second set of twins soon. They are the cutest little three year old boys you have ever seen. We have waited three years for this court date and the only thing I can think that would make it even sweeter would be having you there. We feel like we hold a miracle each time we pick up our sweet “C”. Diagnosed blind, deaf, and given no chance of walking just three years, God has done great things in this little guy’s life. You can see him running, playing, laughing, seeing and hearing as he playing with his six siblings. Please “stump” us. We love you so much and think you are so talented. Bring your mom too, just make sure she doesn’t do the Stump jump without warning us.

My dream is to meet Gwen Sebastian. I am a HUGE fan of her. Her music has helped me so so much. She literally saved my life. Knowing that you both know each other because of The Voice, I figured you could be able to help me out! All I want is to meet Gwen and hug her and tell her in person, and not over twitter like I have been doing, how much her music means to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her music, honest to God! Thanks so much, Adley!
i started following you when you were first on the voice! you inspired me so much to continue being the person i am! i have this vision in changing peoples life but am suck on how to do it. i think what you do is amazing and more people should be like you! <3
