‘The Voice’ Recap: A Misstep by Blake Shelton?
Two men singing Alicia Keys, two women singing Tom Petty: Literally the best and worst of “The Voice” as it moves from blind auditions to the battle rounds that pit singers against each other in front of their coaches.
Jesse Campbell gave the performance of the night on Keys’ “I Ain’t Got You” and unfortunately for Anthony Evans, his performance on the same song was the second or third best performance of the night.

Wow! Adley! The only conclusion I can make about Blake’s decision is that RaeLynn needed the coaching, and you already had the chops! There is no doubt in my mind there are great things in your future. You are an amazing performer with a really strong voice. I immediately bought your CD after “The Voice” and found you to be a gifted songwriter, as well. Best wishes to you always and I do hope you tour so I can see you in person!

Not sure about Blake Shelton anymore…seems like his decision was a little on the dishonest note. Your style and tone was on “key,” I would think it had to be very difficult to sing in harmony with Raelynn, she was terribly off key and botching the song all the way through. Her harmony with you was very low tone and I think she was probably instructed to be low tone on purpose for a judge to make a comment that you over powered “Raelynn.” I feel for the others now to be up against “Raelynn,” cuz it has a smell of “dishonest,” in the air!

I have to agree. You were so obviously the winner in that round it was silly. It felt like it was because she looks like and worships his wife. I was disappointed in Blake. Don’t know what he was thinking. She’s cute, but you can sing circles around RaeLynn. They’re supposed to be looking for THE Voice. You could have been that. She can’t.

Everyone I know that watches the Voice was talking about your battle the next day. We were all in shock when Blake did not choose you to move forward. I think Raelynn is a sweet girl, but her singing is slightly bizarre.
We think that you killed it and it was so refreshing seeing you leave with a positive attitude.

Well, it’s not like Adley is old. She’s what, 23? Same age as Dia. Adley’s also a better singer. One of the best i’ve heard on this show. It should be about that, plain and simple. if it’s about that, there’s NO ONE who can deny you were robbed.

To be honest, I kinda didn’t like you in the beginning, but by the time you were rehearsing for the battle round I was your biggest fan here. So, when you lost I was really disappointed. i was so bummed when you weren’t picked and i hoped for a while that they would pull a simon cowell and admit their mistake and bring you back but they didn’t . their loss. i truly hope you are able to create your own career because you sure deserve it.

We only got the episode on 28 March here in South Africa, and me and my fiance was so dissappointed in Blake not choosing you! I even cried! You have a great voice, and for someone who has only been singing for a few months! You are gonna go so far in the music industry, and we adore you. Can’t wait for your first CD release!!!

lol calm down people, everyone’s all hating on RaeLynn just cuz she got picked over Adley, but I think both of them did a great job! I feel sorry for Blake Shelton to have to pick between the two, that was a hard decision and I’m sure he has his reasons for it. I am happy that Adley got to make an album as well and make it out there and I’m sure Blake Shelton is happy about that too. He might even have helped Adley get to where she is today. Adley is very talented and just because Blake Shelton didn’t pick her doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road, as it is evident in this website. Obviously Adley has the talent to make it big! Don’t hate on someone talented like RaeLynn cuz she went on further in the show on the Voice. I wished Blake Shelton could’ve kept both Adley Stump and RaeLynn. I think both were talented in their own ways and I’m sure they can both make it big. Besides, Blake Shelton didn’t keep RaeLynn anyways… lol
